I have been a resident of Arnprior the majority of my life. Actively involved in sports, I was both a proud member of the Packers hockey and Redmen Football teams, graduating from AHDS in 1968. From then I went on to graduate from Cambrian College in North Bay with a degree in Marketing & Sales. I began my career in the insurance industry and met my wife, Louise in North Bay while working for Sun Life Insurance. In 1971, my father, J.P asked me to join him in his General Insurance Company; Mulvihill Insurance which is now into its third generation with my sons Kevin and Matthew Mulvihill and daughter Erin McCormick. I look forward to seeing our family business continue to grow and eventually see the fourth generation become involved as well.
 

I am a proud partner of Mulvihill Insurance. After receiving a golf scholarship from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN, I graduated in 1993 and moved back to my hometown of Arnprior and gave the family business a try and have never looked back. I began my career in Personal Lines and am now Commercial Lines Manager/Producer and COO for the firm. I am actively involved in the community and have been a coach for both Arnprior Minor Hockey and Arnprior District High School Junior Boys Basketball.  I have also served as a board member on the Arnprior Chamber of Commerce and was president of the Arnprior Golf Club from 2013-2015. Outside of the insurance world, I remain competitive and love playing sports, namely golf, lob ball and hockey and enjoy spending time and traveling with my son Dylan and daughter Maya.

Hi! I’m Erin, a partner and Personal Lines Manager for Mulvihill Insurance.  In March 2000, my husband Jason and I moved back to Arnprior from Toronto where I joined my father Jim and brothers’ Kevin and Matt in the family business.   Prior to moving back home from Toronto, I was a Customer Service Representative with Canada Life Insurance Company for 4 years. I am very much a people person and love working with the public which is a very important asset in working in the insurance industry.  When not at the office my children keep me very busy with their activities. In my spare time I love to travel and play golf.
 

Matt graduated college with a business administration diploma in 1997 and started working for Mulvihill Insurance 1998 and now is very excited to be a partner with his Brother Kevin and Sister Erin. He feels very lucky to have grown in up in Arnprior and now very proud to raise his family and to help grow the family business. He has a great time, coaching his son Lucas in Arnprior Minor Hockey, skiing and taking holidays with the rest of the family, daughter Liv and wife Tanya. He still enjoys playing hockey with his buddies and beating Brother Kevin at golf every time they play.

Hi, my name is Barb McNulty-Smith and I have been a licenced insurance broker since 1984, and obtained my CAIB designation in 1994.  I joined the Mulvihill Insurance team in 1993 when Jim Mulvihill bought the brokerage where I worked.  Since that time, I have transitioned from Personal Lines to Commercial Lines with a measure of bookkeeping thrown in.
My first love is my family and having two boys who, over the years have embraced all manner of sports, which has translated to lots of trips to rinks, soccer fields, ball diamonds and gymnasiums, making me the consummate cheerleader!

After working for Bell Canada for 15 years I changed career paths and joined Mulvihill Insurance in September 2015.  I have been a broker since March 2016. Building continuous relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met is a rewarding part of working in the insurance industry. In my spare time I enjoy spending time at my cottage, reading and travelling.

Hi, I’m Kim
I have been working in the insurance industry for over 25 years.  My career began with Zurich Insurance where I was fortunate enough to acquire experience at various job positions allowing for a vast overview of the “world of insurance”.  Eventually my career lead me to the Brokerage side where I have had the opportunity of working with some of the same brokers I used to underwrite for.
I joined the Mulvihill family in 2006 and still find myself grateful for my wonderfully short commute, raucous office comradery and friendly clientele.

Hi! I'm Patty and I have been a resident of Arnprior all my life. I have worked in the insurance industry since 2005 and became a broker in 2009. I joined the Mulvihill Insurance team in 2016 (when they purchased Mather Insurance) and was very warmly welcomed by all the staff. They have made the transition a very easy one for me.
 
My spare time is enjoyed with my family, friends and being outdoors. I love music, art, being creative and all things chocolate!
 
Insurance can be challenging but I embrace the challenges that occur day to day and love working with the public. I feel it is important for people to be able to talk to someone about their concerns and available options.
 
  Stress can be a big part of our daily lives and having the right insurance for your needs hopefully relieves some of that stress. I look forward to speaking with you.

Hi, I’m Tamara!  I moved to the Ottawa Valley in 2011 from Kingston to be with my now-husband, Wayne and have grown to LOVE small-town living!  I began working in the ever-changing world of Insurance in 2012 at Mather Insurance and in Spring 2017 I had the opportunity to join this amazing bunch at Mulvihill Insurance.  In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, friends, and my two kitties, watching baseball, and winning car audio competitions.  I look forward to getting to know the all the new faces I meet daily here at Mulvihill Insurance!
